[ILUG] Government network backbone

[ILUG] Government network backbone

Hello all,

This is kind of an off topic question.. I'm looking for information
relating to a government that has decided to create a government
network backbone that all government and educational organizations can
connect to The closest thing that I can think of in Ireland is
HEANET. I'd be interested in talking to anyone who has designed or
implemented this or someone who's running one currently Can any one
suggest a better forum to ask this question? (SAGE maybe?)

Thanks,

Braun Brelin
