I didn't want this to start as a troll, but we're slowly getting there.
Agreed that NFS is evil, agreed that async is evil. He's clever enough
to make his own choices. I have to say i missed the part where he said
that all was fine until recently, otherwise i might not have advised
on using async. In fact, i just realised we're using sync at work
whereas at home, I ain't.
