So I've fired up the Kubuntu CD and check the available disks (using Kubuntu's
System Settings > Disks & Filesystems):
/dev/hda1 35.7 Gb
/dev/hda2 1 Kb
/dev/hda5 swap
I honestly can't remember which was / and which /home, but given that it's a
40Gb drive and /dev/hda2 should on no account be 2Kb, is it safe to conclude
that my drive has basically been wasted? (Likely leaving me with the
equivalent of a mild stroke in terms of productivity for the next few weeks)
