2.5 years, that's going back a bit :)
They're not flags, they're interactive commands.

Hitting 'M' definitely sorts by mem.
But 'H' to toggle threads on/off seems to be
removed from the lastest versions of procps?

Anyway I usually use ps for monitoring threads:

ps -C firefox-bin -L -o pid,tid,pcpu,state
