[ILUG] Sun Type 6 USB Keyboard on Linux

[ILUG] Sun Type 6 USB Keyboard on Linux

Hi all,

Has anyone had any joy getting all the buttons working on a Sun Type 6
USB keyboard ? I'm only really after the copy and paste keys. I've
tried using xmodmap to remap the keycodes to the keysyms Control_c and
Control_v but it complains that they are bad keysyms.

bad keysym name 'Control_c' in keysym list

When I do dumpkeys -l though it shows both of these as keysyms.

0X0003 Control_c

I've also looked at keyboard shortcuts in gnome and gconf-editor but
copy and paste don't seem to be listed there. I could get it to work
for gnome-terminal as this was listed in gconf-editor but under
metacity there is no mention of copy and paste. Does anyone know where
the copy and paste keybindings are defined ? Are these set by gnome or
X or the application itself ? I would use a clipboard manager if there
was one which you could define what keycodes you wanted it to use as
copy and paste.

Thanks,
Rob

PS This is RHEL4.3 if that makes any difference.
