Subject: XML IN THE OFFICE - CALL FOR PRESENTATIONS

XML IN THE OFFICE - CALL FOR PRESENTATIONS

XML UK plans to hold a one-day conference in late June or early July
entitled "XML in the office". The aim is to showcase interesting and
innovative uses of XML in general office applications, particularly using
the XML formats that are now available in the Open Document Format (ODF) and
the Open Office XML File Formats (OOXML).

If you have an interesting application that you would like to talk about, or
know of one that someone else might be persuaded to talk about, at an XML UK
event in June, please contact Francis Cave (francis at franciscave.com) as soon
as possible with an outline of your proposed presentation.

The precise date and venue for the event are yet to be finalised, and will
possibly be influenced by the constraints of the selected presenters, so
please indicate any constraints when submitting your proposals.

Francis Cave
Chairman, XML UK
