Thanks for someone on #linux (davew i think) I already have one
answer to this (use 'vsound' wrapper to redirect audio), but I'm just
curious is there a way to achieve the task in the subject line
/within/ available transcoding tools?
Some constraints / problems I've encountered:
- Dont have enough space to dump to a file in intermediate format
first
- mplayer/mencoder can't send audio to stdout
- transcode seems to only want to encode to /video/ format files.. ;)
regards,
