Though strangely on Kubuntu Fiesty Fawn I appear to be missing traceroute.
When I try to add the obvious by apt-get install traceroute it finds it
but times on on download
Using the GUI package manager it has a little "unbuntu" icon and is
available, but package manager insisted that it can't be downloaded.

Seems strange I can do this on XP and not Linux or have they renamed it
since my UNIX days?
MS can't spell they call it tracert
