He does, but in his reputation as an expert in balanced security. He
coined (TTBOMK) the term "security theatre" to describe all the
idiotic security rubbish we've been inflicted with since 11/9. He
also has popularised the use of the term "snake-oil" to describe
crypto-security products which make improbably bold claims or which
make staggeringly flawed use of crypto.. (improbably bold to anyone
reasonably familiar with cryptology at least).
You really should read his stuff.
