If the SLUG is ARM or MIPS etc based rather than x86 (as the WRTs are), 
then you need native (cross) compiled drivers. The NDISwrapper Kludge 
depends on being able to run the Windows driver, thus at least a Geode 
or some similar x86 embedded CPU needed.

There are various flavours for Linux source for various  ZD1211 based 
WiFi  USB. Belkin however uses FOUR differnent incompatible chipsets in 
the same model USB dongle. (There are fine print differences on the 
label of the actual part, but not on the box).
