This happened to me too. It's the "Verified By VISA" check, which is
something imposed by Visa, via the banks, on online sellers. Previously,
it was optional, and possible to avoid it, but it seems that UK vendors
are now *required* to perform this by the UK banks. Absolutely pointless,
of course, and very annoying. Ah well, that's another password to
add to the list...
