[ILUG] Slightly OT - Graphics tablet / drawing table

[ILUG] Slightly OT - Graphics tablet / drawing table

Hi,

I've a Wacom Volito2 tablet which I used as a mouse replacement myself for a
while. It was a little tricky to get it working when I first picked it up,
but these days is supported out of the box (on the various flavours of Ubuntu
at least). The Wacom driver is pretty mature and kept up to date, I think, so
any of their products ought to be well supported.

Depending on the version you get, the stylus will have one or two buttons,
plus the nib, which you can set as each of three mouse buttons.
Double-clicking is indeed a double-tap (if you've the nib sensibly set to
mouse button 1).

It's all configured through Xorg.conf (I haven't come across a GUI for it),
and is pretty straightforward.

Cheers,

M
