Hello everyone,

Just found you guys there today, would have been on this list ages ago if i
had known about it. I live in dublin and am an active developer with KDE.

So.. onto business ;) i found the guide to use the 3 usb modem and i would
like to start a discussion with the author, Mikhail Ramendik. I don't know
very much about this sort of connectivity but i would like to ask how the
details provided would translate to the guide posted here ::
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=262867

the important part being the wvdial instructions:

# wvdial for Vodacom Data. Created by Tazz_tux
# Version 1.0

# Change Log:
#
# Added support for HSDPA.
# Added Headers and version control.

[Dialer Defaults]
Phone = *99***1#
Username = username
Password = password
Stupid Mode = 1
Dial Command = ATDT

[Dialer hsdpa]
Modem = /dev/ttyUSB0
Baud = 460800
Init2 = ATZ
Init3 = ATQ0 V1 E1 S0=0 &C1 &D2 +FCLASS=0
ISDN = 0
Modem Type = Analog Modem

and how that translates from the details provided on you're website :

OK ATE0V1&D2&C1S0=0+IFC=2,2
OK AT+CGDCONT=1,"IP","3ireland.ie"
OK ATDT*99#
CONNECT         ""

to clarify my inquiry, i would like to know how to use the details
that you have provided in the context of wvdial

Thank you,
Andrew / real_ate
