Based on this created a basic mdadm.conf
devices = sdb1, sbd2, sdc1, sdc2
Array = sdb1, sdc1
Array= sdb2, sdc2
Rebooted, didn't notice any real difference, so added /dev/md0(md1) to
fstab, reboot,
back to square one, shell prompt.
