Not sure how you could be more wrong... Ubuntu is one of the few distros
focused on usability. Going with Kubuntu is a bit pointless as you lose
out on all the polish Canonical have put into the GNOME version. And you
should really use the Kubuntu installer - installing it after the fact
doesn't work too well. If you are a KDE fan you should probably go with
a KDE oriented distro to begin with.
