That works perfectly well - but naturally only with X client
programs, which Safari, and all normal OS-X applications, are not.
If you want to view Safari (or any other OS-X native app.) remotely,
you'll need to use VNC, or one of the proprietary Mac. tools such as
Timbuktu.
