The job is plain Unix/Linux and towards High Performance Computing.
ICHEC is working a bit with DIAS hence me posting this add for them.

System Administrator (02/13/2007)
ICHEC is the Ireland's National High-Performance Computing (HPC)
Centre. Its mission is to provide service and research support for
computational scientists, principally in Irish academic institutions.
Included in this remit is a significant training and development
programme, but also Consortium support activities.
The Centre is now entering its second phase, during which it will
bring in further personnel to support the Centre's HPC systems and to
develop large-scale new science, through deploying points of presence
in different sites around Ireland - initially in Dublin, and Galway.

the positions available. The closing date for these positions will be
Tuesday 6th March 2007. However, we reserve the right to maintain a
rolling call until suitable candidates are found. Interviews will take
place in Dublin or Galway on the week beginning 26th of March, 2007.
The positions are to be filled as soon as possible, and before the 1st
June 2007.
