Hi,
We had a BoF (Birds of a Feather) session regarding OOXML at SkyCon
last weekend ( http://skycon.skynet.ie ) and are very much of the same
opinion.
We are discussing this further with ILUG (Irish LUG) and IFSO (Irish
Free Software Organisation) and will be making further contact with the
standards councils in Ireland regarding how we can communicate with them
in an informative and efficient manner and what the most appropriate
channels of communication are.
Hopefully, we will manage to convince the Irish representatives to
encourage ISO to insist that the standard is either made demonstrably
open or dropped.
Best regards,
-->Gar
