Yep, I noticed some of that traffic when trying to diagnose the problem.
I'm running 2.6.18.3 which may well contain that buggy usb code. My reading
of the situation was that it applies to certain usb chipsets combined with
certain usb devices. This may be true as I've got a 2GB flash drive which
works fine as a usb 2.0 device though I do remember some funnies when I
connected an external usb2.0 hard disk drive recently. If it is a bug it is
certainly repeatable on my setup. If I was to contact someone about fixing
it who would you suggest?
