People occasionally pop up questions here about scanners, and the
answer usually seems to be "Yes, it works with SANE" so it seems
there's some experience here with SANE.
Have any of you ever used it with a high-end sheet feed scanner? I
say high-end not because the volume will be huge but because the
sheet feed system needs to be very reliable. The application is the
processing of invoices, which may be of various levels of paper
quality / thickness / condition, and it's very important that the
scanner is good at handling such input without jamming.
Suggestions as to good scanner models for the job would be very much
appreciated, particularly if they run with SANE.
