[ILUG] on the MS ISO standard thing (fwd)

A friend who works with NSAI writes:

  'The important thing is that ilug put together a letter. Any software
  companies [they] can get on board should also do a letter.

  The most important reason for objecting should be that the standard
  significantly overlaps with an existing ratified standard.'

He's investigating what the next steps are... but in the mean time,
coming up with (as yes untargeted) letters would be good.
