Hi Folks,
I am getting an error while compiling Imagemagic from source. I have
downloaded the package under /tmp and run the configure as
./configure --prefix=/tmp/local --exec-prefix=/tmp/local
When I run make the error is:
/bin/bash ./libtool --silent --tag=CC --mode=link gcc -g -O2 -Wall -W
-D_REENTRANT -pthreads -L/usr/lib -o ltdl/libltdl.la -no-undefined
-version-info 4:0:1 ltdl/ltdl.lo -ldl
libtool: link: warning: `-version-info/-version-number' is ignored for
convenience libraries
*** Error code 1
make: Fatal error: Command failed for target `ltdl/libltdl.la'
Need help in localising it.
Thanks,
--Walter
