[ILUG] Running Kernel 2.6.3 on Redhat 9

that is why it filed

Do you have configuration done for the kernel
have you done make config or make menuconfig ?
if yes please just run make clean and make again in the kernel directory if 
not run make menuconfig and make sure that you have all relevant modules.
