Sorry to harp on about this survey but I've gotten some criticism from
people I should be paying attention to that my survey was not very well
designed.
I know its off-topic but if anyone who has taken the survey feels this to be
true I'd be very grateful for your feedback.
As a background I am getting the impetus for the research from a paper by
Von Hippel and Von Krogh entitled "*Open Source* Software and the "*Private*
-*Collective*" Innovation
Model"<http://opensource.mit.edu/papers/hippelkrogh.pdf>from which I
am trying to add some empirical data (albeit lightweight) to
the section which called for more research in the area.
I will be posting requests to complete the survey to the US lugs this
weekend (there's tons of them so I had to stage the requests). As I'm
learning from comments that there may be design issues with the survey I'd
like to maybe correct them before sending out more requests.
Thanks,
Patrick
