Uhm, no. When I got my D420 I installed a few FPSers on it just to
see how true it was that intel graphics are no good for games. They
all played just fine.
(Admittedly, they were all Quake3 clones - but AFAIK there've not
been any substantive changes to how FPSers actually play since
Quake[1]. I can't really understand the urge to spend 100's on the
latest graphics card just to enable extra eye-candy - the game plays
the exact same. The eye-candy is interesting for all of about 5
minutes.. You might as well just download a high-quality MPEG of
same, for all it's worth).
