Still you have to remember that Quake 3 was released in 1999.

I actually had FEAR in mind when i said i wanted to play,
as its supposed to be a fantastic game but it does have high
requirements.
The impression i get is that you should either get intel
graphics in which case you can only play older games
or you something really good.
Everything in between is too niether/nor - too good for old
games, not quite good enough for newest ones.
Something like a Samsung R70 for €1000 at
laptopsdirect.ie isn’t going to break the bank(too much)
I have considered forgetting about a desktop replacement
And getting a smaller one for portability but then
the smaller they get the more expensive they get again
so I can really win.
