[ILUG] tuning NFS over a wireless LAN

[ILUG] tuning NFS over a wireless LAN

hey all -- another question! What are the best NFS mount options to use
for NFS over a local WLAN?

I have an NSLU2 connected to a Linksys WRT54GL via local 100Mbps ethernet.
I also have a Dell laptop running Ubuntu Feisty, associated with the
WRT54GL over 802.11g wifi. The laptop->WRT54GL link is 18Mb/s right now
according to "iwconfig"; "bing" reports 12.337Mbps between the laptop and
the NSLU2.

The laptop is running 2.6.15, the slug 2.4.22.

I currently use these mount options:

  noauto,noatime,rsize=8192,wsize=8192,nfsvers=3,rw,hard,intr,tcp,timeo=20

I'm already using "tcp" since apparently wifi and UDP don't get on too
well. Can anyone suggest additional suitable optimisations?

One of the uses will be to access a reasonably large library of MP3s,
fwiw.
