Walter, which distro and version are you using? Also please note that
programs like konquer (say in RHEL3) will open up all folders once you
start browsing. So with a map with a large amount of entries it will
cause a mount storm (for example a map for home directories). So you
may have to implement a nobrowse option on some maps once you get the
right version of autofs installed.
