Well it's the perception.  Fedora Core = free version spun off from RH   
RH =pay money
Are people actually  downloading it or using Centos, Suse, Gentoo,  
Debian/Ubuntu/kbuntu/edbuntu etc?

I can't find free Red hat download links and it would be interesting to 
see a percentage of laptop or home users that use it?
CentOS and StartCom linux do appear to be essentially 
repackaged/rebadged RHE
