There is a patch for USB host support. The host is unpowered though, so
you have to have an alternative supply for your peripheral.

I use it with a freedom foldable bluetooth keyboard, which works well.

The two MMC/SD slots allow for alot of storage, and the latest update
supports SDHC, which can give you SD cards of 8GB in size at the moment.

With the 802.11g and bluetooth, I feel that covers all you need for
expansion though.
