After using mkdir a bit.


Ran rpm -ivv again as root (su)
[root at localhost Desktop]# rpm -ivv kernel-2.6.21-1.3228.fc7.src.rpm

There are wagons of files now located in /usr/src/redhat/SOURCES

But still the last 3 lines, which Google tells me is a corrupt rpm database.
