Hello,
The Camara team at camara.ie have run into a bit of an issue that requires some help.
They are providing p3 machines with 128mb ram to schools in africa. They are using a version of ubuntu and are calling it camarabuntu. It is based on the edubuntu 6.06 release. They are using the alternate(install to hard-drive) version of the iso as opposed to the "live" version. They are experiencing several issues with this distro but the main problem they have at the moment is as follows.
They are using a prog called ktouch which is a touch typing tutor. The current version they are using is 1.5.3 and they would like to upgrade to 1.6.
The question is what is the simplest and most direct way to do this bearing in mind that they have little or no internet access.
Also bear in mind that not only is this their first experience of linux but also their first experience of pc's!
Info on the ktouch current version is here http://ktouch.sourceforge.net/download.php
all suggestions will be welcome!
cheers,
ghost
