If the job is actually for the company you work for sure, post away! If
the job is for a client of the company you work for (e.g. your company
is a recruitment agency) then the consensus is that you cannot post to
this list (and to any recruitment agency reading this follow that advice
or risk the googlable wrath of many).

For anyone potentially interested in the above I noticed directski.com
(former speaker on postgresql at the ILUG/OpenIreland talks in the RDS)
have a position for a soap/perl/xml/postgresql/unix "web services
developer" on their jobs page (http://www.directski.com/go/jobs). Of
course it could be the same job for all I know!

Mildly interesting ILUG twist, I actually found the direct ski job
snooping back on the last (2005/2006) posts to the Dublin Perl Mongers
mailing list. I was inspired to have a look by Kens blog post about
the recent Irish PHP Users Group (IPHPUG) meeting and found a post
asking if directski were having trouble filling a similar position to
the above as the job had appeared on "rake of agencies". Could it
still be unfilled from 2 years ago?

Niall
