I'm the Head of Application development for Directski.com and it *is*  
the same job :-)

No, we did fill that position and I don't recall it taking us all  
that long either.  This time around its proving tough to find  
developers with solid Perl skills, although I'm prepared to believe  
that we haven't been looking in the right places until now, or that  
the time of year has something to do with it.  Has Perl been deserted  
by serious developers, or are they all working for the Googles &  
eBays of the world?
