[ILUG] LVM for Windows or Dynamic Discs for Linux?

Call me over cautious, but I'd NEVER stripe two drives without parity or 
have a logical volume from two drives (that's not a mirror).

HDD reliability is poor enough without doubling the chance of losing all 
the data.

Why not mount one into a directory on the other if you want to pretend 
it is one storage device. (Normal on Linux, possible on Windows).

Or am I missing something?
