I have an Anycom USB-200, works fine with Gentoo. IIRC it's Broadcom based.
However, when I upgraded the firmware on it at some point, it stopped working.
I got some help on the Anycom user forums, though, and ever since need to
apply a one-line patch when I compile a new kernel to keep the damn thing
working.
Haven't used it much since I got one of those horribly expensive Nokia
USB cables ...
