What I said was: _If you have Windows on the computer_
it would be silly not to use it for this purpose,
particularly if the ISP sent a Windows CD to setup ADSL,
which I imagine is the norm.

Standing on your head may make you feel better,
but it is not going to affect Bill Gates in the slightest.

I guess 99% of PCs (other than Macs) come with Windows,
so your legal remark is very unlikely to be relevant.
