I agree with least-hassle.

For me, having to use windows would be a hassle. So I prefer 3rd 
parties, where it's easy for them to do so, to accomodate me and save 
me that hassle. 3rd parties /needlessly/ introducing obstacles annoys 
me.

For the world we share, that's true.

When it comes to inter-operating with other people (inc organisations 
of people) you're dealing largely with perceptions - there's no 
shared, external, canonical reality.
