I was thinking that just looking at the Skype Linux FAQ right now.
However they have added Mac Video now, so maybe Linux video is on the way.

They arn't allowed to call it GAIM now, hence pidgin

Maybe Gaim/Pidgin only does MSN video on some platforms?
