Hi all,
We are currently hiring for a full time linux administrator position.
I've emailed the list in the past so I'll just borrow the same
description again.
'We're looking for a bright, energetic and motivated person.... by this
I mean that if you don't have real-world experience in all the
requirements, don't be afraid to apply. If you're given a problem and
are prepared to learn what you need to know quickly/efficiently to solve
that problem then you're the type of person we need. On the other hand
if you do have experience in all the requirements please do apply! The
usual job-spec-speak applies: independent worker, initiative, quick
learner, etc.'
The job is based in our city centre campus D.8. (SCR, Clanbrassil St.
cross roads). We've an interesting environment here in the college and
there's plenty of opportunity to learn, you can take college courses
whether that is a full degree or just a CCNA and this will be paid for
by the college. There's also full time access to the gym for example. We
have over 8000 students with 3 campuses in Ireland and more abroad. The
jobs specs are here http://www.gcd.ie/vacancies/. If you are applying
please email opportunities at gcd.ie, if you want more info you can contact
me directly.
