To: All submitters of comments during Contradiction Review
Dear Sir or Madam,
The above Draft International Standard was submitted for fast-track ballot by ECMA to ISO/IEC JTC 1; the conideration commenced with a one-month Contradiction Review, with deadline February, 2, 2007, and continued with a five-month ballot, currently underway, with deadline September 2, 2007. NSAI, as advised by its ICT Standards Consultative Committee (ICTSCC) , elected not to raise any objections during the Contradiction Review period, and is currently engaged in a study aimed at establishing its national position on the ballot. As you or your organization made a submission to NSAI during the Contradiction Review, we are hereby reminding you of the ensuing ballot, and indicating that should it be wished to submit any further comments to us they must be received no later than Thursday, July 11, 2007, to ensure that they can be input to an advisory report to ICTSCC which is being prepared by a technical ad-hoc group of the Committee.
Yours faithfully,
Dr. Ian J. Cowan,
