I switched my domestic internet connection from Eircom ADSL to Irish
Broadband Ripwave about 6 months ago because taking into account the
cost of the phone line which I don't need, the IBB option is far
cheaper, and an NTL connection was not available.
My bill has dropped from about €15 a week to a fiver now, but
unfortunately the quality of service is not reliable at all. When it's
connected the speed is fine, but almost every day (at unpredictable
times but always when I need it) the connection drops and I'm left to
twiddle my thumbs for two hours or more waiting for it to come back.
So, I want to change again. Can anybody recommend a better service in
Dublin at a reasonable price?
Thanks.
Tony.
