GUADEC 2007 Registration Open

Held annually in cities around Europe, GUADEC is
the largest get together of GNOME users, developers,
foundation leaders, individuals, governments and businesses
in the world.

In its 8th consecutive year; GUADEC 2007 is being held at
the UCE Birmingham Conservatoire, in Birmingham, England,
from Sunday 15th July, until Saturday 21st of July 2007.

Keynote speakers this year include well known Free/Open
Source advocates from both within and outside the GNOME
project. Stormy Peters, Paula le Dieu, Ari Jaaksi,
Doc Searls will all be giving keynote talks, as well
as community members such as Robert Love, Alex Gravely,
Havoc Pennington and Bryan Clark, and Jono Bacon.

The schedule consists of nearly 80 sessions split into
three tracks looking at future projects, showcasing current
developments and workshops to tackle difficult issues.
There are also a number of tutorial sessions, and lots
more lightning talks.

GUADEC is sponsored by many organisations ranging from
large multinationals to small local businesses. The Linux
Foundation, Sun, HP and Maemo are gold sponsors this year,
while silver sponsors include Igalia, Google, OpenedHand,
Imendio, Intel, Fluendo, Collabora, Ubuntu, ACCESS, Novell
and Red Hat. Our media partners include Linux Magazine,
O'Reilly and LugRadio.
