Hi, all

I am trying to start the ubuntu installer in a Sun Blade 1000. The
keyboard (Type 6 USB) works just fine until the rescue/install option
is selected.

I am using Ubuntu Feisty Server for Sparc CD

What I am doing is:

- - Power it on
- - Stop+A
- - ok boot cdrom
- - Ubuntu initial menu appears. Options are: press ENTER to install
or type rescue. I have tried both of them. keyboard works at this
stage.
- - Kernel and initrd are loaded and first menu is shown (Select
language). In this point keyboard does nothing.

I don't know if this is a keyboard issue or the whole system hungs. I
tried to reconnect keyboard in a different USB port and even
reconnecting a different one with no success.

Has anyone experienced this before?

Any hint from Sun gurus?

Regards,
