Yes, I opened a pinhole at port 25 as an experiment,
and it seemed to work OK.

OK, I think the reason I didn't name my laptops elizabeth.gayleard.com , etc,
was that I thought this might get mail sent directly to me which would fail
(as port 25 is closed).
But that is probably nonsense, so I've changed my internal domain
to gayleard.com .
