	One reason you might want to set a smarthost - OR better, use SSMTP (or
similar) to send mail, is that many ISPs block port 25 outbound from all IP
addresses. They only allow port 25 (SMTP) connections to their own SMTP relay
servers, i.e. their own mail servers.

	This means that you would be unable to send e-mail while on their network.
ISPs have done this it try and prevent trojaned PCs on their networks sending
out spam e-mails. Just something to be aware of.
