Well, ideally a different trip to toaster / kettle/ coffee maker / hair
dryer all of which are frequent trippers :-)
One place I set up using Sage on all the PCs to shared server files,
all the users had a cheap UPS each. The server then did sensibly tell
people to save the accounts / exit at once.
I experimented once with a web front end and SQL server for all
transactions and then a late night batch upload to a single user sage
only running on the server. But no-one was offering to pay for it so it
only ever had limited functionality. With Sage Line 50 a power fail on
one client can destroy the whole accounts rather than simply lose the
current transaction.
