Folks,
I did a project a few years ago, where we were rolling out Cobalt Cubes to a few schools. One of the schools selected was St Olivers in Drogheda. When we got there, they had one of the most enlightened and sophisticated setups Ive seen in a school in Ireland. All servers were Linux (I think Redhat but cant be sure). I think their desktops also ran Open Source. They even trained their Sysadmins who were the students. And the skills were passed down each year so that the knowledge stayed in house. Needless to say they didnt really need the Cubes :))
