Just on a note of interest BECTA in the UK have advised against MS Vista
and OOXML for school use and are encouraging the use of free
alternatives. See the following article.

http://news.becta.org.uk/display.cfm?resID=35948&page=1657&catID=1632

Question: Is there an Irish equivalent to BECTA?

In relation to OOXML Becta see it as being incompatible with ODF
