Dear David

Perhaps you forgotten that the main problem is spams and viruses ...
mail server is not a simple and one stop solution. you mention those
services which are needed to run the mail server NOT to protect and
make it safe and strong are also required.

what you need:
SMTP Setting Up Postfix
Dovecot POP and IMAP for Incoming Mail
Providing Webmail Access you need squrlmail, Procmail or there are
lots available.
Busting Spam with SpamAssassin with MailScanner and CalmAV Antivirus Protection
Open SSL etc.

If you need professional services you can contact me off the list any
time.... I am serving lots of companies as a consultant for their mail
server solutions and security related issues...

Hi all,

I want to install an email server on my fedora 8 X86_64 machine....

Anyone know of the best one to use?

It must be equipt with POP, IMAP and SMTP. It also must have a web interface
to the mail boxes....

If possible the mail server should also have the option of TLS/SSL

Thanks

Dave
